Thursday November 20, 7:30pm: Flutist Shanna Gutierrez will give the world premiere of Nomi Epstein's work Trio for flute, cello, piano (2008) with cellist Benjamin Kulp and pianist Matthew Gemmill at Ganz Hall, Roosevelt University, 430 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL. Written for Shanna, Trio explores sound and color through a number of slow moving musical textures.

November 7, 2003, 7:30pm: A Parisian Salon Concert, sponsored by Baird & Warner, Northbrook Library, featuring a Broadway Review, Argentinean Pianist, Ana Fau playing Albeniz and more, and Shanna Gutierrez playing solo flute works by C.P.E. Bach, Debussy, and DeLorenzo.

 

October 19, 2003, The Chicago Flute Club will hold a masterclass with Gary Schocker. Shanna will be performing in this masterclass playing the "Chant de Linos" by A. Jolivet with Gerrald Rizzer, piano at the Sherwood Conservatory in Chicago. Gary Schocker will be giving a concert at 2:30pm and the masterclass begins at 4pm.
